A Complete Equivalent Circuit for Linear Induction Motors With Laterally Asymmetric Secondary for Urban Railway Transit

چکیده

Since the linear induction motor commonly work with a laterally asymmetric secondary as it is applied to pull rail vehicles, this paper presents complete equivalent circuit model considering asymmetry predict thrust, vertical and transversal forces. First, six correction factors are presented quantify variations in air-gap magnetic flux induced current operating secondary. Second, develops based on existing T-model for rotary two magnetizing branch, which used indicate electromagnetic plate due asymmetry. Third, mathematical expressions forces derived by applying model. Then, calculated prototype motor, results of them comprehensively analyzed. Finally, characteristics range rated speed, validated experimental measurements carried out test rig line motors.
